Visited the beach in July 2018 and in the pavilion resto you have to be dressed. Wasn't like this before when we went.

Besides the Dutch people from the Flemish Seeland, in July and August the majority of the people attending this beach are German families and mature Flemish couples. In July and August, the Germans, who mostly stay in the campings next to Groede beach, provide a very healthy and family FKK-oriented atmosphere. This beach, well known by the Belgians for decades, lost its popularity among Belgians after the creation of the naked beach of Bredene (Belgium) in 2001. Bredene is still the only naked beach in Belgium. However, Bredene is such a sex oriented beach, with many people practicing sex in public, and so many gawkers, wankers and phone-photographers that many Belgians are back to Groede. Groede naakstrand is a healthy familly oriented beach in the way it has always been with the German FKK movement. A very conservative and traditional FKK beach and therefore, reccomended to bring your children with.
