Information

Located in 25 acres of woodland, we are a family orientated and pet friendly club that welcomes like-minded visitors. You can book to bring your tent, caravan or motorhome, stay for a week in one of our static caravans, or just visit us for the day through our website at https://broadlandsun.co.uk

Broadlands is a member club of British Naturism and extends a welcome to you whether you are a seasoned naturist or a newcomer contemplating dipping your toe into the liberating world of naturism for the first time.

Once here, you’re free to use all the clubs’ facilities, which include the sun-lawn, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, racket courts and a Petanque (boules) terrain. There’s also a club house where we hold social events and evening entertainments, and a refreshments room where you can get hot & cold drinks, a snack, or heat-up your own food in the microwave.
We also have a woodland walk around the perimeter of the club which is about a mile long. You will certainly see squirrels and you might catch a glimpse of a badger or a few deer. This is a favourite circuit for dog owners to exercise their pooches. We welcome dogs but ask that they are kept on a lead and exercised on the woodland walk. Dogs are not permitted in the areas of the club where people go to relax or socialise.
Outside the club, there are many family attractions within easy reach of Broadlands. We are just 15 minutes drive from Whitlingham Adventure who offer a wide range of water and land-based activities for all the family. Adjacency to this is the Norfolk Snow Sports Centre where you can brush up on your skiing and snow-boarding skills, though we guess they will want you to wear some clothing (such a pity).

Just five minutes further and you will be in the City of Norwich, widely regarded as the most complete medieval city in the UK, where you can explore the cobbled streets and half-timbered houses on a self-guided tour or visit the major landmarks of Norwich Castle or Norwich Cathedral to recall their splendour in earlier years.

The walkers and cyclists among you can explore the 36 miles of Boudicca Way running from Norwich to Diss. And within walking distance of the club are the ruins of the Roman Town at Caistor St Edmund (a.k.a. Venta Icenorum) which was the Roman administrative centre for the area.
If you want to find out more then please drop us a message using the button on our FB page, send us an email (info@broadlandsun.co.uk) or simply pick up the phone and call us (landline & answerphone: 01508-492-907). If you are new to naturism, we would be happy to show you round and answer ALL your questions. We welcome personal enquiries about membership and visitor bookings; alternatively, you can book with us directly through our website: https://broadlandsun.co.uk

Our first experience at a Naturist camp. Was greeted with a very welcoming/“please to see us” reception. Had a brilliant 4 days finding the whole site friendly, peaceful and a joy to be there. The site staff, residents and all other guests all made us very welcome.
Toilets and showers were emaculate! Will be booking again as soon as able.

Broadlands Sun is a beautiful club with a lovely woodland for dogs, Broadlands is a little piece of paradise in a 25 acre woodland.

Had our first visit to Broadlands last year and was made to feel so welcome.
We had a lovely time here, a beautiful heated pool, great clubhouse and a lovely long wooded dog walk which our dog and us loved. Everyone made our dog feel as welcome as us which went a long way.

We found everything to be clean and have now been back quite a few times, often meeting up with people we have met on previous visits.

I have to say I think this site needs a good hard look at itself, apart from warden who was excellent, most people who have a static there were so unfriendly. The site could be so nice, round every corner statics and caravans that look like they were abandoned years ago, committee should be chasing up members to maintain a certain standard or off you go. Most of the statics are well passed their sell by date. The 'touring' area feels like you are in someone else's front garden, with lounge windows on statics facing you about 4'away. Completely unlevel grass pitches, no drainage point for motorhomes that is accessible. Having visited 4 other naturist sites this season so far, sorry this one is sadly living in the past.

We had a lovely sunny and warm weekend here during the National Petanque event.

The woodland walk/jog of 1K was stunning, and was enhanced by the swathes of bluebells under the trees.

Facilities were OK. I say OK because one shower block had only cold water and an incredibly noisy expelair. I also cannot understand why guests walk dirty shoes into the shower/toilet area when it would be so easy to take them off and leave them at the door. This obviously resulted in very muddy and dirty floors in those areas.
Washing up facilities in a garden shed were a little basic and the sink was low.
The swimming pool was nice, but there were fumes which made one cough when you first entered. Also you cannot swim if you are alone in the pool which I found a little OTT on the elf and safety side.
Generally the facilities were kept clean and well maintained.
All in all, Broadlands is a very picturesque and peaceful place to stay.

New manager and family outstanding, met with and had tea with chairman, given personal tour pretty much of entire site...spoke to many members all friendly...remember naturism is not an easy thing to manage and neither are people some are outgoing and confident long term naturists, others like to be left alone..this club provides much by way of facilities everything is kept very tidy and food and drink available...we will be joining subject to approval in due course and hopefully occupy van on site.Kim and John.well done Stephen.....

Have our own caravan been going here for years love broadlands to bits but felt this year caravans mobile homes to Close together at one point our next door neighbour in mobile home we could have handed each other cup of tea not safe at all if anyone had a fire all gone said to warden but not interested

nice surroundings but apart form a few people we found it to be quite unfriendly, the usual members click who just tolerate the holiday makers i guess because of the extra income to the club.
clubhouse only open on a Saturday and when they had a band come to play we were asked by members to leave the table we were on as they had put their plastic beakers on the table to show that they had reserved it, brings to mind of towels on sunbeds. caravans bit past their sell by date.

I have been three times and look forward to going again this summer. I have found everyone helpful and friendly. The pool is always warm. The site is very relaxing away from the outside world. You can join in games most days if you want to or sit and watch.

I brought up by parents who told me that if you haven't anything nice to say say nothing. I'm saying nothing.

We were there for a week in the middle of July and loved it. Stayed in our old camper van. Site very clean and quite as kids still at school. Pool warm and relaxing. Dog loved his walk through woods round the perimeter of site, so nice without restrictions of clothes. Everyone very friendly. Meals in Karen's cafe lovely and she is very friendly. Will go again when children back at school. Highly recommend. Broadlands Stoke Holy Cross Norfolk. Mike and Helen Edwards.

This place is like a little paradise in the middle of a mad world. As soon as you arrive, it feels welcoming and relaxing. The camping fields are perfect, being flat and grassed. The facilities are very good. Small cafe, big covered pool, nice toilet and shower block, and reasonably priced even in the middle of school holidays. With a bus stop into Norwich just a few minutes walk away, it never feels isolated. The people are all friendly, and despite what someone else posted, a wide age range. Well done Broadlands, I think you have got it just right!

The small cafe was fine but could be better, the pool was nice but found some of the people there not that friendly But it may just be a off day ?

Not sure if Jack has visited many UK naturist destinations (re previous post).

Have just come back from Broadlands having spent best part of a week at the site. Have to say that we found the people to be friendly, the pool was warmer than many I have swam in and is covered.

Two good miniten courts, and boules area with regular games taking place.

The grounds good re tent pegs.

Broadlands is worth a look.
