Stayed during the month of July (twice) for a total of 11 days and the weather was lovely. Plots were large although moles still a problem! Trees around the grounds provided shade if wanted. Toilet and showers were very good and the bar and pool area was an excellent place to meet and chat with other campers. Local bakery van came every morning at 9am with a varied choice of bread and pastries. On Monday evenings there was a pizza van on site. A very jolly man who served some lovely food with a smile. During the week, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays food was available in the evening at the bar with outside tables set in an orchard close to the pool. Wonderful setting, very rustic! The campsite was also rustic but that's how I like my camping with good walks within the grounds. The town of Plancoet was only a 10 mins drive away with good shops, bars and restaurants. Dinan was also only a short drive from the campsite and slightly further afield was St Malo. The naturist beach at Erquy (Plage Naturiste de Lourtuais) was only 35kms away and was an excellent place to visit with free parking and nice restaurants nearby. I can recommend 'La Crêperie du Pêcheur'. Also worth a visit was Cap Frehel, very remote and wild! Overall I loved my visit to Pallieter and will definitely go back next year.

Stayed in June 2017we had seen the website and decided to stop off on route, we only stayed one night due to been somewhat disappointed with the site after reading the website.

The pool was out of order - there had been no mention of this on the website. nor did the price reflect this.

The grass pitches and play area if you can call it that were overgrown and the whole site looked unkempt.

One of the toilet blocks was out of order (the one nearest to our pitch.

Our intention was to stay for a couple of nights but we left the next morning, we were speaking to some people who had stayed the year before and said how nice it was then, what a difference a year can make, its very doubtful that we will return, Shame because the site is in a beautiful setting but seriously needed some TLC

Review Pallieter Naturist Camp Site.

After our wonderful stay in 2016 we were eagerly looking forward to our return on the 18th June this year. We decided that Pallieter would be our first stop after getting off the Chunnel near Calais. Yes it was a long drive but we thought the reward at the end of our journey would be worth it. The long drive and some traffic delays lengthened our journey somewhat and we arrived late at 18:30, in hindsight we should have telephoned to say we would be late but we had a bad journey.
Reception was closed and knocking on the door raised no one at Pallieter. We call the owner who lives above the reception; on answering the call she replied that they were eating and we needed to wait until 20:00, rather disappointing customer service.
We decided to take our dog for a walk and look around the site. The first point of note was that the grass all over the site and especially around the pool and bar area was long very long some 20cm to 30cm. We also noticed that the site was infested with moles, with hundreds of mole hills visible. Additionally around the bar area the wooden tables and chairs were no longer there. There were a large number of visitors around the site and we found that only one amenity block was open.
We showered and returned to reception noticing that the pool was only half full and that the internet was not available. We met our host and booked in, asking what was wrong with the pool we were told it had a leak and would not be repaired until the end of the season. We were in the middle of a heat wave and there was no pool, not good!
We parked up and decided to walk to the bar for a drink, we met another UK couple and 2 French couples at the bar awaiting drinks only to find that the bar did not open Sundays.
As we were tired with travelling we decided to stay for the 3 days we had originally booked, we observed a number of visitors who had planned to stay longer only stayed the one night before moving on due to the lack of a swimming pool and the state of the site.
On our final night, we decided to check out at about 6:30, we were told that we could not check out as reception was closed; reception is immediately behind the bar that actually was open at this time. We asked when could we check out we were told tomorrow after 10am. This scuppered our plans for an early start the next day.
We presented ourselves at reception the next morning to check out, in fairness the proprietor did not charge us for our dog due to the lack of a pool and internet. We asked for our naturist cards to be returned and she was adamant that she did not have them. We returned to our car and searched our documents not finding the cards. We returned to reception and insisted that she did hold our cards, eventually they were found “wrongly filed” was the reason given. Our early journeys start finally commenced at 11am.
In summary, we were totally disappointed with the site. The “customer service” and “attitude” of the proprietor was totally unacceptable. If it was my site the pool would be fixed immediately, the grass would be cut, the moles would be dealt with, both amenity blocks would be open and if I had 10 thirsty people wanting to buy beer and wine the bar would be open.
Will we return, sadly NO.

Very friendly welcome and quiet pitch with plenty space.Although weather had been wet we were allowed to park our motorhome at the edge of the road which was most suitable. Toilets clean and plenty hot water. Would certainly go back.

We too found the swimming pool to be far too cold to swim in at all, being unheated in this summer 2014: the effect of hurricane Bertha on the weather there.

The central block toilets were clean until the heater broke down, then it seemed that cleaning the toilets there was abandoned, however the newer block was excellent and just a few meters futher away.

The pitch for our tent was undermined by moles which made it very uneven. Standpipes for water were conveniently placed and the roadways allowed access easily to the pitches which were quite generous in size. Shade trees gave sufficient cover although sun this summer was limited. Some downhill pitches were muddy and we experienced others being unable to drive off from their pitches because of the mud.

Other campers were quiet polite and friendly family groups, mostly Dutch with excellent English. The Dutch owners were helpful and friendly. I did book a reservation online, which turned out to be a mistake as there was lots of space when we arrived and we need not have paid the reservation fee had we known. Directions were good for finding the site, and the nearby township was well provided with a good hypermarket.

We had a great time there and would happily go back another year.

we had a lovely stay here even if the season was in it's last week .
The site was quiet and we made good friends with our dutch neighbours .
The weather was perfect and we made an excursions to Erquay and Honfleur , both still alive in our memory .
best wishes to the Proprietors .
