In February 2023 we stayed for 14 days in comfortable room Jane. The owners are true naturists and are able to create a warm atmosphere, where you feel free to do your own things. Both owners are tourist guides and give you adequate advice. You can also book a tour with them, but they were not choddy to share their knowledge with us. We enjoyed the garden with pool while looking out at the view of Hout Bay in the comfortable sun loungers in sun or shade. Our braai's (BBQ meals) beside the pool and drinks together were memorable as were our conversations. Both have much to tell about South Africa! Their home is a good base in a safe environment to explore the surroundings, such as Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, Constantia and Durbanville with their many wine estates, Hermanus etc. Go also to the nearby first naturist beach in South Africa, Sandy Beach. To come there it takes a 15-20 minutes beautiful and impressing walk along the ocean. The beach itself is beautiful and worthwhile visiting with its sand surrounded by beautiful rocks. Good restaurants are nearby in Hout Bay and we enjoyed especially the fresh fish. Good to know that they also own 2 well equipped lovely (not naturist) apartments in a safe area. Both are suitable for short and long stays. Next time in lovely South Africa we will go their again.

I have been negligent in not following up with a review. My name is Doug James, and I stayed for 3 nights with my good friend Shelley in March 2019. We were planning on a return but like many, have been very frustrated by Covid 19. The owners were most welcoming. Enjoyed the sauna, our BBQ dinner beside the pool, discussing good South African wines, and looking out at the view of Hout Bay. It was a good base to explore from including Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, and Boulders Beach to see the penguins. We have told many of our Canadian friends about the place and still hope to return.
