Lovely place , enjoyed swimming in the lagoons and great walks too

I have been to tything barn every year for the last 7 years , it is wonderful, a disused quarry, with lagoons fed from the river at every tide , nature has taken back here and there ,there are carefully mowed pathways throughout the site allowing access to see the beautifully wild flowers , facilities are good , toilets and showers are dated but clean and tidy , the regulars are a friendly bunch , a great place to chill , relax , and enjoy nature

My late partner Roger and his wife Gwynneth camped there several times before her death in 2007.

He said it was a lovely place where everyone had a great time with no embarrassment or intrusive misbehaviour. It was a civilised place to bring the family safely.

We might have come back if his health had been up to it.

We've been visiting TB, off and on for several years. Noticing change is almost impossible, but that isn't a bad thing.
Massive grounds with walks, sun traps, views and plenty of options for just kicking back.
This is a gem of a place. Wholely concur with the other reviews.

We visited in 99,2000,2001,2006 and 2wks in 2007. So pleased it's open. Loved cottages and cabins. Probably cottage next visit. Not been back for health reasons and both of us have put on weight and conscious of it in nude. Joe and June were lovely, plus jasper the dog.

We have been regular visitors to ‘The Barn’ for many years, it’s beauty and welcoming ambience blew us away on the very first visit and it still does. Managers have come and gone which caused some uncertainty but this beautiul and endearing place is now in the safe and professional hands of Jerry and his family. His professional manner and ability to listen and discuss, compliments the sites multiple qualities. If you are a sedentary individual of family or need some adventure or action you will feel at home here! The beautiful visiting sea entices you to want to kayak or swim as does the lagoon. The established fauna and flora beckons you with open arms to walk or run through the trees feeling the sun wind and rain against your naked skin. Themed events throughout the year bring opportunities to let your hair down and meet new people from all walks of life and make new friend whilst creating fun filled memories to savour. Or if you want armchair politics, comedy a sing song or music, sit around the fire and join in or just sip on a glass of your favourite tipple and be immersed in the raw intellect and humour on offer.

TYTHING BARN IS OPEN; it has never closed. This is an assumption some have made as the managers, Jo and Mike, have moved on. It is now managed very efficiently by Jerry and his family. I have just spent two weeks at Tything and it is as good as ever.
Swim in the lagoon, sunbathe, go conooing and sit round the campfire, or If you prefer, You can keep yourself to yourself. The choice is yours.

My wife and I and our Jack Russell visited 2014 and 2015, didn't make last year as doggy had 5 prolapsed discs remove in a very expensive surgical procedure, now fully recovered we hope to visit this year and meet the new owners. It really is the closest I feel I can get to paradise , peace freedom, Awsome night skies, great people and complete tranquillity. Paul and Denise.

Our first visit this year (2014) we will return! Truly beautiful campsite, we have made new friends, all very relaxing. Our stay included the fun weekend,an annual event which we enjoyed very much,. There is everything you need here the facilities are spotless though it took me a while to master the washing machine, perhaps better if I had read the instructions! Evenings by the fire pit are wonderful, we were made so welcome and soon got chatting, all in all a truly lovely place to stay.

My first visit to a naturist camp site with my Lady friend at the young age of 68. Booked on for one night and stayed ten, been back for another ten nights and hope to visit many more times in the future. Nothing can compare with the feeling of complete ease of walking and swimming naked in wonderful grounds bathed with the sunshine of the last couple of months. I recommend this site to anyone who has not tried naturist life, the staff are very pleasant (after warning no hanky panky is tolerated)and helpful, giving you a full site tour on arrival of the well serviced site.

Spent four days here last week and I am amazed at what a lovely place it is. Management were extremely welcoming and more than happy to assist where needed. Other campers were very friendly and this was an awesome first trip for us.

The facilities were perfect - this isnt the place for someone who wants every last facility but the swimming was great, the walks relaxing and the facilities very good. I really cant wait to return.
