*************************Coronavirus update*****************
The Nudefest Management Team and British Naturism are reviewing all health advice from all Government bodies and are currently planning that the festival will go ahead as normal, but slightly later in the year. The safety and health of everyone will underpin this thought process and we will aim to keep everyone informed if the situation changes and develops.

Please note the change of dates 7th - 14th Sept 2020

I say it every year but Nudefest 2020 will be bigger and better than before. The team have learnt new tricks, will buy in more services and generally improve the experience. Giving everyone a really enjoyable experience and the best bit is…. you can still do it all clothes free for the entire week!

So if you haven’t been before let me explain, Nudefest takes over the whole of Thorney Lakes Caravan and Camping site which is a large farm consisting of a number of lakes and fields near to Langport in Somerset for a whole week. This year we will take over the site from 1700hrs on Monday 7th Sept until 1200hrs on Monday 14th with nudity permitted across the whole of the 400 acres.

The site has all the normal facilities and this year like every year we will be hiring in extra toilets and showers yes, even more than last year to complement those already on site. We will also be enlarging Area 52, which is an outside bar with a new stage and covered area. This year the main marquee will be a square rather than a rectangle to allow for Nudefesters to get a better view of the stage. Around these areas will be various tents offering hot and cold food & drinks, massages and even a shop linked to the local community shop meaning you need never get dressed to go out, so you can get your favourite newspaper delivered!

The festival fully opens at 1400hrs on Tuesday 7th with a welcome address and entertainment - we open with a full size dodgem track which is free to ride and a group called Rip It Up. But please note that before then facilities and entertainment will be limited as we will be erecting the many tents and structures. So if you come on Monday, set up, strip off in the evening and get to know your fellow Nudefesters.

So from Tuesday afternoon we have planned a great, fun packed programme with something for everyone starting from around 0800hrs everyday and going on till late in the evening. We will have over 100 activities or sessions to take part in ranging from outside visits - which are clothes-free, talks on various subjects, dancing, sport – we have lots of that, singing – we will have three stages, Virtual Reality gaming, Yoga, Shooting, a climbing wall, craft, fishing, a fete on Sunday, body painting, archery to name just a few. And the good thing is with the exception of any outside visit you care to go on all activities are FREE. Which does make things easier when you’re not wearing clothes.

The team are currently working on the programme and will continue to do so even during the festival to ensure it reflects what people want. Updates will be placed on the website so you can plan what you want to do and still leave time for a snooze... So if you wish to come along on the day of the 5k/10k run or when the fun Casino is on please have a look at the website.

Finally Nudefest is designed, planned and run by volunteer naturists and we concentrate on the small things as well as the big ones to ensure everyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality feels welcomed. So please if you’re a bit unsure about coming along give it a go, we can find a quiet pitch for you if you want and I am sure you will soon relax and make friends. So please book your pitch (we sold out last year) and look forward to a well earned clothes- free holiday with like minded friends.

First time at Nudefest, and defiantly not the last. Lots to do and all good fun. Evenings entertainment was a great laugh and having a well stocked locally run bar with local Ale & cider was a bonus. A very friendly atmosphere perfect for your first naturist event. Thank you again to Nigel, Mike and team for a well run event, see you in 2020.

This year was our first Nudefest. We were not very sure what to expect but from the moment we arrived the welcome was very warm, the atmosphere so relaxed and we enjoyed every minute. We made a lot of friends and stayed for the whole week. The choice of activities was great. If possible we come next year again !

This is a great event which I've been going to for a few years now. Each time there is something new to do - external visits or a new activity like the 5k fun run. The volunteers that run the festival do a brilliant job and every evening there is awesome entertainment in the bar/marquee.

Everyone is really friendly and you can participate as much or as little in the activities.

We have been to Nudefest every year since 2009 and it gets bigger and better every time. With naked trips out to museums, cider brandy factories, breweries etc plus tons of activities on site you never get bored. On the other hand if you just want to chill out and wander around a lovely Somerset campsite then it's equally good. The evenings are legendary with numerous bands and discos. Dancing naked at the amazing Mothership disco is the absolute pinnacle of fun! There is absolutely nothing anywhere in the naturist world to match Nudefest.
