It is very good and a nice place to stay and chill and enjoy the sunshine and go for a swim I've been going to Slapton for to many years to mention ????

Recently visited Budleigh Salterton's naturism beach. We're a couple in our very early 50's. We both felt so comfortable. So relaxing & was so relaxed. Was liberating, my takle froze in the cold but tbh!! I didn't care. Whole experience was amazing. Incidentally planning more trips. I hear Slapton has amazing beach too. Any recommendations greatly received. Si & Ju.

Slapton is the other beach we frequent in this area(the other being Budleigh Salterton). This is a large area of small (almost fine) shingle, very comfortable to lie on. Parking is limited (& expensive!) but as soon as you walk out of the car park you are greeted with a sign telling you that the beach to the left of the toilet block is for naturists. You don’t have to walk far to strip off! As with Budleigh, there is a good mix of genders, couples & singles. A little coffee hut sells really good coffee & cakes/ sandwiches near the car park entrance. Highly recommended if you think the larger pebbles of Budleigh are too uncomfortable.More reviews by Philbeachbum (2)
