My wife and I really enjoyed spending a few half-days on this beach when we were staying in Ostend in July 2022. It's easy to get to on the coastal tram (Kusttram), has lovely soft sand and is a good size. It had a mixed, civilised crowd when we were there.

I felt as if I was in a minority group being a single straight male! The beach was in good condition and a very hot day made the experience fine although it would be good to be able to swim rather than just paddle.
