Visited again this week - this time staying overnight in a tent with my two dogs.
However, I don't think I will do that again, as I was made to feel uncomfortable walking the dogs across the site to exit via the main gate, so ended up driving them to the gate every time they needed out. Also the camping area is on a slope, and very noisy from the next door industrial estate from 6am. As no one pointed out that there was a kitchen specifically for campers, I then had to wait for the main kitchen area to be unlocked after 8am before I could get a hot drink.
The bar and clubhouse were quite busy both nights, but none of the regulars seemed interested in welcoming a lone stranger - eg there was a quiz on the Friday, and I was asked if I wanted to enter, but no one invited me to join their team, so I played on my own.
It's a shame that all these little things detracted from an otherwise pleasant, well-kept and well-equipped site and sent me away with a bit of a bad taste in the mouth, and this is reflected in my rating, even though the facilities merit higher.More reviews by Anthony (3)

Visited for the day to meet up with a friend who lives locally and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Friendly welcome. The pool, hot tub and jacuzzi were ideal on a chilly wet winter's day, and the conservatory a comfortable place to relax. Nice touch having tea/coffee making facilities. Everywhere very clean and well-maintained - obviously well-loved and cared for.

What a gem of a naturist club hidden in the heart of yorkshire.
Everyone made us feel so welcome on our first visit of many I hope.
The grounds and public buildings are spotless.
The bar serves very reasonably priced drinks and the pool and hot tub are great.
Will definitely be back.

I had an excellent stay at this wonderful place. The staff and members were very friendly and approachable as were the guests in the next caravan to me. Swimming pool was wondeful and warm as was the hot tub. The bar and conservatory areas are very clean and welcoming to all who visit and drink prices are very reasonable.

You wont get better facilities for the price at this excellent resort and you couldnt wish to meet nicer people who devote so much time to the upkeep of it.

An 11 out of 10 from me and I shall look forward to visiting again

Best clothes optional camp site I stayed local for me . I hope to join soon, very friendly members I was made very welcome. Lovely clean caravan, all facilities clean and spotless. Amazing club house,swimming pool,sauna. I stayed in a lovely well equipped caravan, nice and warm comfortable bed.

Been a member now for 9 months, every visit has been fantastic, excellent facilities, friendly members, very clean and the money is put back into the club, very cheap drinks in the bar too. Love it.

My naked body and I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere of Ashdene. 10/10 would recommend to any friend. It was as if I was dreaming due to the magical experience that I had when I was there. All I can say is a great thanks ???????? mwah ????

Stayed at Ashdene once again for a quiet couple of nights so I could get my work done and Pam (as usual) was most welcoming , Although I have yet to pay a visit to the club house and meet the other members I have no doubt I will be made very welcome. Myself and my wife went for a look around. We were shown around by a member of the club. He was friendly and helpful and so was everyone at the club. People made an effort to come and talk to us and everything is there that a naturist needs. We will definitely be joining.

I visited Ashdene today for the first time. I'm single and had no trouble arranging a day visit to have a look at the site and facilities. I was shown round by Pam who was very helpful and then left to do as I wished. The pool was lovely and the pre swim shower was hot. I don't know why I expected it cold. Couldn't enjoy the sauna because I didn't happen to be there at one of the times it's on. I will definitely be going again.More reviews by Lee (5)

Went to visit Ashdene and found it a very clean and friendly club. Bar prices very good. Pool, club house , grounds and sauna very clean and some very nice walks on there door step. We will be going back again very soon. Well done to all its members at Ashdene.

Do not understand negative feed back for this friendly and warm club, members more helpful and accommodating than most clubs we have visited in the past.

A hidden gem. Sauna, swim WiFi and electric hook-ups are included in the visitors fees. The bar is very reasonable and well stocked. Well kept lawns, boules court etc. Very welcoming and sociable, excellent entertainment and catering.
There are loads of walks, a nature reserve and tourist attractions within easy reach.
