Opinions and experiences of visitors with Rivendell Naturist Club

Well now it's open under the new management, Michael and Fiona are both lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble. Typical of the naturist attitude, but they have the moden approach to it, i.e. Cloths optional, if you want to wear trunks or bikini then that's fine no pressure, after all we are not all ready to throw our cloths off on first visit. None of what my wife joking refers to as the naturist nazi approach.

The B&B rooms are very nice, although a little small, the pool, fantastic. The jacuzzi great. All set in a small woodland. Plenty of sun beds and tables Just so relaxing.

I've not tried the tents or the cabins but they look great from the outside.

Having just opened there are one or two teathing issues, no three phase electric so the commercial kitchen is not working, but will be in a couple of weeks????

No bar licence yet but that's in hand as well.

They are very happy to recommend local pubs for food and allow use of the fridge for your beer or wine.

The conservatory is warm and comfortable, I fell asleep on the sofa, so must have felt at home

I'm here on work trip, but have booked to come back with Mrs H

I have visited Rivendell, with friends, on about four ocasions.
I am sure I can speak for us all when I say that we simply cannot find one negative thing to say about the place The hospitality, the food and anything else I have forgotten to mention here, is beyond compare.
We will truly miss you Barbara.
P.S. I never could work out why the pond was always so green with weed! Oh well, maybe it's the envy that other camp owners feel about the place!

We have been members for 15 years, sadly not for much longer, Rivendell will be closing on the 4th January 2017 as Barbara is retiring and as far as we are aware, will no longer be a naturist site.

Rivendell is THE place to visit, either a day visit or to camp.
The reception from Barbara is warm and friendly.

The gardens and surrounding woods make it a perfect venue to enjoy yourself and relax.
You will also be pleasantly surprised with the openness and friendly atmosphere that exist between all the guests.
Very nice swimming pool, hot-tub and sauna.
You can even get a nice hot meal to enjoy either by the pool or in the club-room.

But beware, you may enjoy it so much you don't want to leave again.

A beautiful site, woodland walks, beside a stream, nice camping (tents only), good swimming pool, hot-tub and sauna. Very pleasant clubroom with a sunbathing patio. Barbara, the owner is a lovely lady.
