We don't have a big motorhome with endless ground sheets and wind breaks so for us in a tent on a hard core base, it was not the best. No drinkable water on site so had to buy from supermarket. We were here on the 21st April 2018, having never been to Vera Playa/Natura or whatever its called we took a stroll out this morning to see what it was all about. It was a ghost town, no one about. I felt as if there had been a holocaust and Alan and I were the only survivors. Are all the apartment along the naturist beach used just by naturists or do other nationalities live there textile/naturist all year.?? Really don't understand this place. Give me Charco del Palo Lanzarote any day of the week. Moving on again tomorrow.

Very friendly (especially in the Naturist Area) site with large pitches and roads. very laid back atmosphere. The site is slightly quaint and rustic, but the facilities are good and clean with plenty of hot water. All water potable except the irrigation taps for the trees. Naturist area has its own loo block and disposal points, 6 amp electric with resets you can get too yourself, around 50 pitches all big but very big units will stick out a bit unless a pitch is empty at the top or bottom of the area that have more space. 7.5m MH fits easily with room for a full awning and other items. Textile pool, bar/cafe/shop in summer only. There is a great restaurant opposite site. Buses leave daily at 09.30am opposite site 100m and returns around 13.30pm to a variety of destinations. Returns after 13.30pm involve a 2km walk. There is a large Consum superstore 1.5km. Beach 1km Naturist beach 1.5km. Owners speak Spanish plus very limited other languages, very friendly and attentive all the same. Some road noise but not obtrusive. Lovely area with the best winter climate in Spain.

Cuevas Mar campsite was originally textile but they have split it into two areas. There is the day to day facilities in the naturist area, showers, toilets, water and chemical toilet emptying. However visiting reception and using the pool in the summer clothes are required. This is a new site and despite the textile area should be supported fully, if nothing else so we don't lose it. You never know if it is really busy with naturist the whole site might be turned over to naturist use. The site it self does have some of the largest pitches in Spain. Although some sites may have some huge pitches, on average CM are larger than you might expect.
If you are planning to visit in the summer months first check dates for the Dream Beach music festival. 76hrs of Techno, Garage or pure bass music played very loud, nearby, means you won't get any sleep. The site is very busy over that weekend. Before is fine, and after DB, just avoid that weekend.
