Opinions and experiences of visitors with Abbots Farm.

Well the old bugger smith is dead. He might have had a few gay friends but was hated by the locals and the farming community.Thrown out of the cattle society Biggest crook going claiming hand outs while all the caravaners paying him cash and not declaring it. Wont be missed suppose that robert will do the same .Birds of a feather as they say.

Have had some great times at Abbots farm, always someone new get to know and some great regulars, and some genuinely relaxed or heady times, depending on what you want . Unfortunatly on my trip there last week found out that Ron the farmer and mainstay of the site had sadly passed away suddenly. Am wishing all the best to his loved ones and partner, and hoping that as they say it will, the site continues and grows.

i have not been back to the farm because of my health but hope to be back in the summer.2017. It was the first nudist camp I had been to every one welcomed me and helped me with my tent. I have made good friends and we keep in touch. the farm is a great place to go and relax also to have a goodtime. the owners are busy but always cheerful. I will return. eddie

Having read the above comments I thought I'd write about our experience .. we have been going for a number of years now and have seen Abbotts change into a very friendly quiet relaxed tranquil campsite. It is a haven for mixed couples, gay couples, single gay guys. Straight guys and lesbians .. in fact everyone is made welcome.. I'm not sure why people have put it was a swamp in July ? This summer has been beautiful and the site has been full most weeks . the toilet blocks are now being replaced with a sparkling new shower, toilet and washing up faculty. All in all Abbotts farm has just moved with the times and it's a fantastic place to stay and visit .. we tried it and can't keep away from the place!

Our first naked camp site we tried it last year it was a lovely weekend a great friendly bunch we even had a naked guy come over and helped up put up our tent. WE felt a bit strange at first as the guy was totally naked and we thought it better to stay dressed whilst putting the tent up. the heat that day was so hot soon clothes was just taken off due to hard work and the heat of the day.
We said we would return but only got back this year again the weather was fine again another new tent and again a helpful guy helped out we stripped off and felt totally at ease.
We now have a caravan and spend a lots of time there and have made some life long friends there is plans to update toilets and the swimming pool. Abbotts farm is a totally relaxing place the owner is a busy guy but still has time to chat dogs are allowed but need to be on a chain and mess cleaned up which is best for all concerned. The only bad thing about Abbotts farm is going home lol we love it there its a sheltered site and seems to be a sun trap but when it rains it can soon churn the grass up. Thanks too all for making it a great place for weekends away and weeks away from the rat race xx

This site used to be a little gem but has sadly gone down hill over the last couple of years. The toilet facilities are completely inadequate for the numbers of people on site and when I visited there was not even lighting in the toilet and the shower was broken. I was kept awake most of the night by the drunken and lewd activities of some of the guests and overall the campsite is no longer a place to come and relax at the weekends. A lot of Abbotts gay customers also appear to have been driven off site which is sad to see as until recently it was the only predominantly gay naturist site in the UK.

great site, owners are fantastic. It's a working farm and a great place to lay back and relax. A superb mix of people and you can choose to get involved in regular social evenings that go on late into the night or just chill and do your own thing, no pressure to join in if you don't want to but all are welcome - noise levels are not loud and you can still have that early night if that's what you want. We stay on a regular basis and were made welcome from day one by almost everyone on site.

Lovely place to stay, been a few times now and enjoyed it every time. Lots of fun can be had if wanted ;) yes there are some gay guys here but noticed much more mixed couples going here now too so much more balanced site these days. Very friendly relaxed place to get naked and enjoy nature as intended

Its a great naturist campsite. Predominently a site for gay men, around 90%. The site is a mixture of tourers and guys that leave their vans for the season. Its very relaxed and a great place to chill and unwind. There are the occasional straight swingers who visit. The site facilities are basic, two showers and a toilet block, no separate make or female facilities. A Pot washing facility, fresh water supply, toilet waste emptying point and some 6 amp electric hookups which are available on a first come first served basis. There is a small swimming pool, naturally heated. You cannot pre book a pitch.nmassage is sometimes available on site. There is NOT a sauna or hot tub for campers use as some other reviews seem to mention. The undercover pool are is great when the weather isnt so good, a place for socialising and having fun. The farm is a working farm so you need to be aware of that but it does not affect your enjoyment. During busy periods somebody will book you on and show you to your pitch. Day visitors are also welcome at a small charge

A friendly community of mostly gay men and a small enclave of straight swingers (who tend to keep to themselves). Ron, the owner, is really easy-going and helpful. People on the site tend to be very welcoming, and there are barbecue evenings and drinks parties where most join in and contribute food and drink. If you've run out of any supplies and someone is going into town, they'll gladly get stuff for you or give you a lift. The site is on a flat and secluded setting, is peaceful and relaxing, and the duck pond is an additional attraction. The shower and toilet facilities are very basic, but sufficient. It's good to have the swimming pool in the poly-tunnel. I've been only three times so far (unfortunately the weather was atrocious each time - and that was in July and August!). I'm looking forward to going back again this summer and, hopefully, manage to enjoy my stay in some decent weather. I wish I'd started going a lot sooner.

i love getting to Abbotts farm, its so relaxing there and such a wonderful farm, the owners are so pleasant and friendly, its great to be in the countryside and see the geese, ducklings, goats and cows... the shops are 2 miles away but once on the site it feels so secluded and private you feel a million miles away from anywhere.
its so laid back that you just drive on and pitch up, you can pay when you see the owner ,once he returns from milking the cows!
i recommend the place and love going there.

having just spent a few days there as a single visitor. I can recommend the place. Everyone was friendly and helpful the owners go out of their way to help. A few gay who are obviously regulars and have their own vans stored there. But they presented no problems at all they were very friendly and helpful. lovely area with indoor pool and hot tub. showers/ toilets etc were spotless. I shall be back.
