Very peaceful site and surroundings. Modern and clean facilities. Nuno and Paula (owners) very friendly, willing and helpful. Good English speakers. Locally, a small brewery in Marvao producing excellent Real Ale and in Portalegre several large supermarket chains; E Leclerc sells LPG for those with refillable systems! Fantastic area and well worth seeking out. Don't use Sat Navs - follow the directions on Quinta do Maral's website. Coming back? You bet we are!

We have had a wonderful stay here. lovely spacious site, beautiful views. It is very clean and has a lovely small pool area. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. we love the place and will definetely be back to explore more of the local area.

A quaint set up - being expanded. Plunge pool and small bar. Really enjoyed a peaceful stay here and can recommend. July 2013
