This is a large, verdant site amid lovely scenery. Arriving early in the season we had the site virtually to ourselves. Wandering naked in the sunshine, seeing countless varieties of flowers and the occasional deer, it was a true Adam and Eve experience for us. At that time of year there were not the social meals others have mentioned, but to judge from the warmth of the welcome we have no doubt they are excellent. In practical terms the pitches are widely spaced with facilities in several small units dotted around, each with toilets, showers and sinks for washing up and laundry. The water's plentiful and hot. Perhaps the only disadvantage is that it's reached over a few km of mainly unmade track which might deter people with larger vans than ours.

Me and my husband spent an idyllic week at the Tuscan treasure which is Sasso Corbo. Spectacularly set amongst hills and gorges, surrounded by unspoilt traditional villages, we shared the wonderful natural environment with Bas, Domenica and their boys. Clear nights provided superb star-gazing and the simple life was deeply relaxing. We shall definitely return!

Dominica made great bread each day and ran a small shop for the essentials. Where else could you buy 10 year old local red wine!
Swimming pool took a few moments to adjust body temperature but was a welcome asset to the facilities. Dominica even put on a real Tuscan 3 course meal for a song one night. Sasso Corbo welcomes you warmly, not only by weather and beautiful surrounding, but as well by the positive spirit and hospitality of the owners Bas and Domenica.
They offer a very good combination of facilities, service and contact with the local Italian community.
A great place to discover Tuscany.
