Camping Las Grullas

I think we were a bit early in the year (April) to truly appreciate Las Grullas. There appears to be no low season price, and when you consider the pool was closed and out of bounds and there was no hot water to wash dishes I think the owners need to think about a lower rate for this time of the year or until the pool is open. 25€ a night for a piece of grass and a shower. It might look better on a summers day when the site is full, for us, not a good time, only stayed the one night.

Camping Naturista & Bungalows Almanat

After a soggy night at Las Grullas we decided to head south and made our way to Almanat. Not sure what I expected the site to be like but was a little disappointed by the regimental layout. Again we were one of three tents surrounded by the biggest motorhomes I have ever seen. Weather was a bit hit and miss, but we did meet some lovely people during our 10 night stay. The toilet/shower block is spotless and has a cleaner there nearly 24/7. Lots of hot water and great showers. Bar was pleasant enough although I was not impressed by the food.

Camping Cuevas Mar

We don't have a big motorhome with endless ground sheets and wind breaks so for us in a tent on a hard core base, it was not the best. No drinkable water on site so had to buy from supermarket. We were here on the 21st April 2018, having never been to Vera Playa/Natura or whatever its called we took a stroll out this morning to see what it was all about. It was a ghost town, no one about. I felt as if there had been a holocaust and Alan and I were the only survivors. Are all the apartment along the naturist beach used just by naturists or do other nationalities live there textile/naturist all year.?? Really don't understand this place. Give me Charco del Palo Lanzarote any day of the week. Moving on again tomorrow.
