Very nice, very clean, very friendly. Great for walks. Visited in our motor home. Large site which gently slopes in several directions so levels a benefit. Plenty of electrical connections but not always close to where you might want to park; a long extension lead could be useful if you want electric! Site is 1.5 Kms along unmade road to north of N121 so recommend taking at least a week's food supplies! Sat Nav for junction on N121 is West 8.485411, North 38.018367 and site then clearly signposted. Will definitely be going back.Quinta do Maral

Very peaceful site and surroundings. Modern and clean facilities. Nuno and Paula (owners) very friendly, willing and helpful. Good English speakers. Locally, a small brewery in Marvao producing excellent Real Ale and in Portalegre several large supermarket chains; E Leclerc sells LPG for those with refillable systems! Fantastic area and well worth seeking out. Don't use Sat Navs - follow the directions on Quinta do Maral's website. Coming back? You bet we are!
