Opinions and experiences of visitors with Sungrove Club

The site was recommended by some friends we met at another club. You approach the club down a beautiful tree lined lane which has recently been completely resurfaced and is lovely and smooth for bringing in your caravan. When you arrive at the lovely rustic wooden gates, the bell push button is clear to see and we were welcomed in by a lovely friendly couple who guided us to our pitch for the weekend. The site is absolutely immaculate and the people were all lovely and friendly, we were shown around the lovely solar heated pool which was at 27 degrees all weekend. The clubhouse is cosy and functional with two microwaves, a full size cooker and washing up facilities, comfy seating was all around where you could usually find some members chatting and having a cuppa. We will definitely be going back later this year, but this time we will have at least a week there.

We had a lovely long weekend, very friendly bunch, no complaints about any one or anything. We where invited to join in with the BBQ and quiz in the club house on the Saturday. Lovely site, very pretty and well kept. The swimming pool although not Olympic size was clean and warm after a few days of sun on the solar panels.
We had our lunch on the Friday off site in Cleethorpes, at a fish & Chip restaurant on the pier just a few miles away and then the afternoon in Louth.
First time we have been to the Lincolnshire Wolds and from the warm welcome it wont be our last

The site is located on a shared driveway with a caravan and camping site and Prospect Farm holiday cottages, not very welcoming on first arrival metal gates with barbed wire, the lady and Gentleman that showed us around are friendly and nice but unfortunately that is the only thing you can say about the site, that is positive.
it does have a small cold swimming pool only heated by the sun the site appears to be clean but the people on site are the most unfriendly we have ever come across especially one large old lady that has a caravan on the left-hand side of the toilet block the thin gentleman that is her partner was polite but unfortunately she was so extremely rude and abusive that she would put anyone off staying at the site she pointed out that she doesn't like people visiting the site as this is a members only club and no one is welcome apart from members she also pointed out that they deliberately bin applications from single people and people of same sex couples in the end we decided not to stay so unfortunate as the location being close to Cleethorpes only 5 miles was ideal

Lovely people full of fun, always smiling. Saturday night BBQ for members and visitors. Heated open air swimming pool, spotlessly clean. plenty of room for our tent and other visitors caravans. Plenty of activities throughout the season, the list on the wall includes boules, bowls, mini golf, archery, lawn darts. These are open to visitors which is nice, we never felt left out. Since last time we were there, they now have electric hook up, just enough for a fridge, T.V. and battery chargers.
Excellent small club for people new to naturism. Not far from Lincolnshire Wolds including Louth, a lovely market town and close to Cleethorpes ideal for a day out with the kids.
We have visited many clubs, If we lived closer, we would make it our home club for sure. Hopefully we will be back before end of this season again.
Thank you for your hospitality.

A very nice little club. would be ideal for first time naturists to start. It is in a beautiful oasis surrounded by woodlands. A garden of eden in rural Lincolnshire. You can go just to unwind and destress in the solitude of nature, swim in the pool or laze about listening to the birds while you read a book. On the otherhand you could join in with the many activities the members organise. The members are welcoming and friendly. new members and visitors can all expect a warm welcome.
