Yet again we had a wonderful time spent at this beautiful site. So restful and peaceful. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and the cover was always pulled back just before the pool opened. A pizza van visits who makes the pizzas to order. Also another night we tried Creole food from a van who called and enjoyed a delicious fish supper. Heaven.

We've just had 8 glorious days stay at this site, the owner was very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to truely get away from it all and a base to explore the area from, the toilets are cleans and ample hot water for showers. The pool is covered but we found this a real welcome in the late summer heat and it was nice to escape from the heat at times. We had a camp get together on the Sunday with free wine and there is a pizza van that visits the site. Overall a great place and looking forward to returning next year. The road up has a new surface and for us towing a van was not a problem. Some of the villages are tight to get through so check the route there as you get closer but it's well worth the trip.

A peaceful, small campsite. We have an 8m camping car, and yes, it's a narrow entry, but with care it is not difficult. The pitches are huge and fully serviced. Don't come here if you want a lively time. This is a restful, beautiful little gem. It's not within walking or cycling distance of shops or restaurants. It is a spot for dedicated naturists, not the occasional topless sunbather.

We have a Knaus Sunliner camper (6.7 m length) Having read good reviews via Alan Rogers we booked to stay for 4 nights via email. The road up from the nearest village seems a lot more than 3.5kms and not really a journey to be cycled. On arrival at the gate, it took several phone calls to get a reply for the gate to be opened. To get through the gate we barely made it width wise and there were many low overhanging branches - not suitable for a camper at all. The pitches we were offered (choice of 2 ) were large, but again with a camper it was impossible to make the best of the pitch.
The wifi was only around the main building. The pool area was small and despite the hot weather still was covered - it was like swimming in a hot tunnel. Toilet and washing facilities were clean. Lots of ants to contend with on the pitch. We decided because of the inaccesible route up to the site that we would leave after only one night. When I went to pay, I was told that for a camper it was a minimum of 2 nights and I was jolly lucky that she wasn't charging me for the 4 that I had booked! There was no evidence of this policy written down, but she insisted that it was on the rules as we entered the site!
They do offer a bread/ croissant service each morning - but there is no take away food or shop as suggested in their literature. A very disappointing visit. Thankfully we can have a free camperstop tonight to recoup the extra costs.
