Former members 1980 - 1996

The club was fantastic and the members so so friendly. It was our weekly escape and well worth it. Still miss it 20 years later. Sadly now living in Scotland so travel back down not viable. Still we hope to visit at some point before we are carted away in our boxes.

friendly club with helpful people. my first visit they made me feel at home but you have to observe certain rules 1 if you use or answer your mobile phone take your phone in the woods i could not understand why as i spoke as quietly as possible and as may be some visitors spoke like Dom Jolly! and one lady looked at me with horror as if i was point a gun at her even though i was whispering when i took the call accidentally on the green outside the woods.A few weeks later i realized it was`nt to do with talking loud i believe its to do with the fact that most mobile phones have a camera built into them and may be the lady in question thought i was taking a photo of her in the nude even though the the phone was against my ear not pointing at but to calm any fears the camera on my phone does not work that is why last Christmas 2015 my girlfriend bought me a new one so dont worry ladies a shall answer my phone deep in the woods next time i visit your lovely club. Talk about woods, the woods surrounding the club are excellent for bird watching thats the one`s with feathers and other wildlife like grass snakes and for those that dont like snakes grass snakes are harmless none poisonous. The swimming pool is kept clean and warm and the club warm clean and comfortable, A lovely club with beautiful surroundings Richie p.s also dont forget to park your car reversed in this in case of a fire you can quickly escape

Being present at Prested Hall naturist swim yesterday evening 8/11/15 and having my usual lovely and revitalizing session amongst other likeminded souls I'm somwhat perplexed and shocked having read Allie Passfield's anguised first experience at the same venue? This must be rectified as I personally can't understand and have never experienced this type of "bad manners" I know Springwood's meet and greet person Wendy is now very unhappy as she did wait to meet Allie at reception but never saw or was told she's arrived later than expected. Wendy always strives as I hope all Sprinwood members do to make new faces feel at ease and part of our naturist family. Out of 59 people who attended 10 we're Springwood members so I can only say it's a shame and ask Allie to give us another chance please! Great venue, superb value, kept nice and warm, very efficient and friendly staff, reasonably priced and varied menu in well appointed reastaurant - clothing optional, etc, etc.More reviews by Baz (3)

extremely friedly welcoming club - lovely atmosphere. We go every year

Extremely friendly, met by Sandra and shown around, set tent up, and a cuppa was waiting for us, members started arriving and greeted us very friendly bunch. Welcomed in the clubhouse for film, and later the disco, brilliant nights we had, spent a thoroughly fantastic 4 days at Springwood. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to our friends as well. Many many thanks to everyone at Springwood.

This little club is a jewel the members all with no exception go out of their way to make visitors welcome

Must compliment this members owned family sun club for the efforts they make to make visitors feel welcome and totally at ease, especially those venturing into the cloths free world for their first time. Suffice it to say I will and have returned to Springwood many times having met and married a member. and they have great relationship with Prested Hall every second and fourth Sunday with nude swims in fabulous 20m x 12 m pool, with steam sauna, bar and good food.
