I have been a life long Naturist and really enjoy the freedom of not having to wear clothes and although I often visit naturist local beaches going to Acorns is just fantastic, I often used to go there for the day , however my new partner said she’d like to give it a try so we booked for a few days B & B and she just loved being naked right from the start and didn’t have any problems socialising in the Cow Shed with other Naturist, eventually we teamed up with another couple who were in one of the caravans. Our friendship blossomed and we’re often in touch and we all booked up again for early September

I visited last year with a friend. It was the first time either if us have been to a naturist site. I was alone for the first two nights and did feel slightly awkward but when my female friend showed up I felt much more relaxed and it was easier to mix with other couples then.
I just wish the pool was a few degrees warmer! Oh and being in our mid forties and late thirties we were surprised to be the youngest there.

Acorns was our first naturism experience. We were made so welcome and have been back many times in the past 12 months. Clean, tidy and very friendly.
Acorns is our naked heaven ...

Lovely, friendly site.Ive visited several times a year over the last two years and only wish I,d discovered this wonderful site years ago. Kathy and Andy aided by Claire and Martin have achieved wonders and are always about to make sure your stay is perfect.I,m a single male and its so refreshing not to be confronted with some of the petty fears and predjudices that some other places suffer when one becomes a "single" person.. Always plenty of friendly folk to socialise with and lots to keep you occupied whether or not the sun shines on this well cared for naturist site.

I have had two happy visits to Acorns. A great site, nice owners and visitors. I t has good facilities that are being developed all the time. Naturism at its best. (I do not want you to go there because I want to have a chance for myself!)

A wonderful place I first visited two years ago and have been back to every year since. Thoroughly recommended.
The 'Facilities' list above is slightly misleading. The 'separate car park' is, I assume, that for day visitors (this is not one of those silly places where you can't park next to your tent). The 'restaurant' means that meals can be ordered in advance, and eaten in the same room as used by B&B guests. The 'bar' and 'shop' is a small honesty shop where you write down what you take and settle up at the end - plenty of ice creams for hot days!
Some of the best feature are not mentioned above - two wild meadow fields you can walk around to enjoy the countryside, splendid views across to Dartmoor, a hot tub, games room, and a lounge.
