I have enjoyed some day visits to Diogenese Sun Club during 2020, during periods when there was no lock-down. The staff and other members are very friendly and I was made welcome. The heated outdoor pool was most enjoyable, the open area superb for sunbathing, and walking round the grounds was very pleasant. It was just a shame we couldn’t go indoors, including in the indoor pool. Next year, hopefully.

Fantastic club .I knew the previous owners .as I had a saturday Job there as a 14 year old .
The owners of the club have done a fantastic job of keeping the original house and grounds as was .But any improvements and modern ideas are well worth seeing.
I have visited the club a few times throughout the years as chair of singles out door club .now sadly lost to us.
Myself I am great granny now . With very fond memories of time spent here .

Visit DIOGENES do.you will be in for a very pleasant surprise

Very good convenient site for access to London, etc. No permanent residents except the warden, so staying mid September for 1 week we were more often than not the only ones there. Camping area very shaded, so can be quite chilly. When the wind is in the East there is quite a bit of background noise from the M25, there is also a lot of aerial activity, light planes, helicopters and of course Heathrow take offs, having said that it is othwise quite peaceful, plenty of birds about. The house is well appointed and has all the normal facilities that you would expect, plusi TWO kitchens. Everybody very friendly. A good base also for exploring the Chilterns area, the Chilterns Outdoor Museum warrants a special mention.(less than 2 miles away). The Dumbbell pub is 200 yards away and does excellent food and good beer. One the way there you might find a box of 6 BLUE hen eggs for sale outside a cottage. Large and tasty......

Fantastic Club!
Fabulous facilities, grounds and caravan/ camping pitches.
Great base to visit the city only 10 mins from tube station.
If we lived closer we would be members.

Beautiful well maintained club and campsite. 2 great heated pools one inside one out. Plenty of gardens and green spaces. Excellent camping pitches with or without EHU. Toilet and shower facilities 24 hours. Only slight complaint was no rubbish bins for those camping for a holiday.More reviews by Steve Denyer (10)

Great place to relax and enjoy the sun x

Very friendly and welcoming people. This site has a super indoor pool and relaxation area which can be accessed all year. Outdoor pool is 17m and heated to 29C.
Large pitches, very quiet especially at night surrounded by beautiful woodland and gardens.
Very handy for trips into London. Station at Rickmansworth. Taxi back £10, available 24/7 from the station. Honesty boxes for ice cream, coffee, tea etc.More reviews by Terry & Val (27)
