We took our large touring caravan to Dolcoed in 2019, easy access, short distance from road but very quiet site. Great pitch size, dogs really welcomed, fresh water and pay as you go electric. Brilliant, we saved a fortune on electric and it worked out for us just over £1 per day. The site is lovely and quiet, friendly, rural, but within walking distance to local pub and easy to get to so many places it's very central. We walked for miles with our dog alongside the river, it was beautiful. The site has developed so much since we saw pictures in 2017 and the recreation facilities and showers/toilets are immaculate, modern and hot and best of all FREE. Thank you for making us so very welcome, we will see you in 2020.

We visited Dolcoed when they first opened in 2017, wow is all we can say. It is beautiful. The facilities are still immaculate, modern and fresh and nothing is too much trouble. Jo and Mike are fab hosts. We cannot believe how much work they are doing there to make the place even more special. We'll done guys its beautiful.

We've visited Dolcoed twice...and love it. It is still a "work in progress" but we certainly noticed that.
It's a small site but perfectly formed....spotlessly clean showers and toilets with plenty hot water. Honesty washing machine and tumble drier. Kitchen area for campers, if needed.

There are a couple of self-catering options; a well maintained static, with lovely sitting out area, and a glamping unit. This has recently been finished to an extremely high standard.

There is a social area which includes table tennis, snooker and pool, and a game of table soccer. There is also a big tele and comfy settee

The grounds are immaculate, with plenty of quiet sitting areas. Not far from the site is a pub, serving meals. On weekends local bus travel is free!!

Arrived 14/8/18 for a 10 day stay and received the warmest of welcomes from Mike . It was our first ever time camping .Tent was borrowed, so had no experience of putting it up. That is when the fun began , but Mike was immediately there to help out.
Next day after a night of heavy rain having discovered it leaked like a sieve, guess who was there to help? the ever accommodating Mike with a tarpaulin to cover the tent and extra string to hold it down. What can we say. The site is amazing, facilities amazing , hospitality amazing. Mike amazing.
Looking forward to our next time there.

What is the access like to the site
We have a touring caravan and worried about access heading towards the site
Is it narrow road?
Is it easy to fine ?

Jo and Mike are great hosts the campsite is very clean tidy and quiet but you can also chill and enjoy the great amenities provided like snooker darts etc if it's bad weather in doors in the barn which looks great in the night all lit up

It's a little haven of peace and quiet with excellent facilites and charming hosts. It's very well maintained with hard standing EHU as well as grass pitches. The grass is so green and lush that it's a real pleasure to walk on barefoot. There's a small shop and a pub very close by and a bus stop at the end of the road.

Dolcoed is just what it says, beautiful, tranquil, peaceful and rural. We have just returned after a few days away with our dogs. The site is immaculate, a work in progress as Jo and Mike call it, cannot wait to see the ongoing plans if it is a work in progress now, it will be even more sensational. The showers and toilets are pristine, clean, modern fresh and pretty. Everything you need, hairdryer, shaving points, fridge, freezer kettle and toaster. The Recreation room is a definite plus on a rainy day. The local pub is a few mins walk and food there is good. There is a very nice modern static caravan for hire with decking around it for sunbathing. Thanks so much we cannot wait to come back before the seasons out and maybe stay in static next time.

A new campsite owned by experienced campsite hosts who could not be more helpful. The toilet/shower block is second to none in modernity and cleanliness. The site is still being developed and I look forward to visiting regularly appreciating further improvements when I visit. I would highly recommend this site for both seasoned naturists and those who are visiting their first such venue. It was so good although we booked for 5 nights we left after 10 foregoing our intention to visit a second naturist site. I only wish it was nearer as 270 miles makes it a long journey. The local pub a short walk away serves good food and the local shop is nearby. Altogether a great new naturist location with great hosts. If you try it you won't regret it and will surely visit time and again. I certainly will.

My husband and i went to Dolcoeds opening weekend. It was brilliant. Mike and Jo are very friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The pitches are hardstanding, loads of room and the electric is metered so you only pay for what you use. The new shower and toilet block is exceptional, clean modern and very spacious. It is a small, quiet and very picturesque site in a very convenient location. The local pus is a 7 minuye walk and dog friendly too. The food and hosts are excellent.
